(March 25, 2019) – Two big concerts, one amazing weekend at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant. Making debut performances at the Grand Theater, legendary anthem rock group Styx will perform on Friday, Dec. 13 followed by southern rock and country duo Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt on Saturday, Dec. 14. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at http://www.ticketmaster.com/.

One of the most successful anthem rock groups of all time, Styx, will perform live at the Grand Theater on Friday, Dec. 13. Styx, comprising of six men, have been together for more than four decades and are committed to making their next show better than their last. The band draws a unique range of music, from the majestic “Lady” to the primping pageantry of “Miss America” and the rugged “Renegade.” Styx has four consecutive certified multi-platinum albums as well as 16 top 40 singles in the United States, 8 of which hit the top 10.

Charlie Daniels & Travis Tritt will be making a stop at the Grand Theater at Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant on Saturday, Dec. 14. With more than 50 years in the industry, Charlie Daniels is an iconic southern rock and country musician and fiddler. From his smash hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” to being inducted into several Hall of Fame’s this musical icon is sure to put on a spectacular show.

After the success of Travis Tritt’s first album, “Country Club”, the musician went on to win his first Grammy Award for “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals” on “The Whisky Ain’t Working”, then again in the same category for the single “Same Old Train” featuring Marty Stuart. Several of his albums now hold a platinum selling certificate and he has won four Country Music Association awards.
