World Series of Poker Circuit Concludes at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant

DURANT, Okla., (November 14, 2018) – For the eighth consecutive year, Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant hosted the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Tournament. The circuit ran from Oct. 24 to Nov. 12. Maxwell Young from North Palm Beach, Florida won the final table and took home more than $260,000. This is Young’s second win this month and he currently holds five WSOP rings.
“Congratulations to Max Young and all the players at this year’s WSOP event,” states Jeff Penz, senior director of gaming operations at Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant. “The WSOP tournament is always enjoyable to host and a huge success year after year. We welcomed more than 890 players who joined us from 19 different states. We look forward to 2019 when WSOP kicks off the year at Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant.”
WSOP will return to Choctaw Casino & Resort- Durant on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
