POCOLA, Okla. (July 31, 2024)- Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola is celebrating its 30^th anniversary with a month full of fun promotions for guests!

What started as an electronic bingo hall in 1994 has grown into a premier casino and resort serving the Pocola and Fort Smith areas. In the past 30 years, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola has expanded to include a hotel, large gaming floor, multiple restaurants and bars and over 7,000 square feet of meeting space.

At the forefront of the Pocola resort is its dedication to the people and communities it serves. Over the years, Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola has donated to the Salvation Army, the Special Olympics, Mercy Health, the Arkansas College of Health & Education and numerous other local charities and groups. To celebrate its 30^th anniversary, the casino will continue its spirit of giving with month-long deals as a thank you to its loyal guests.

Drive into Luxury

Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola is giving you the chance to drive away in a luxury car! Every Saturday in August, a luxury car will be given away at 1 a.m. Cars include a Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Crown, Ford Wildtrak four door 4×4, Genesis G80 and a Mercedes Benz. There will also be $1,000 cash drawings every hour from 2 p.m.-12 a.m. on Saturdays. Guests can earn entries now through Sept. 1 at Pocola, Pocola Too, Heavener, Poteau and Stigler.

Meal Deals

Head to Seven Ponies for a Choctaw-inspired meal for just $30 all month long. The first course is a refreshing summer berry salad with arugula and burrata cheese, followed by a main course of cedar-braised bison, herbed corncake and three sisters (beans, squash, corn) with potatoes. For dessert, enjoy grapes with lemon-scented dumplings and sweet lavender cream.

Square Pie will also have a 30^th anniversary special, offering 30 wings for $30, and Trophy’s will serve Choctaw fry bread with smoky blackberries.

Don’t forget to stop by the Coffee Cafe for a sweet treat to end the night. They will be serving special 30^th anniversary cookies and salted caramel mocha iced lattes.

Live Entertainment

CenterStage will have performances from Morris Day & The Time and Conner Smith in August. Morris Day and The Time is a funk rock band that was partially formed by Prince in the 1980s. The band’s records were produced by Prince, and they went on the road with the icon as a supporting act.

Morris Day and The Time will take the stage at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased here.

Conner Smith is a country artist paving his way in Nashville. He just released his sophomore album, “Smoky Mountains,” and was named to the Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces Class of 2024.

Smith will take the stage at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 30 with doors opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Birthday Bash

Don’t miss Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola’s birthday party on Saturday, August 31! There will be birthday cupcakes, a balloon drop and a performance by DJ Ronnie.
