POCOLA, Okla. (Oct. 9, 2023)- Square Pie Pizza Co. is opening its doors inside Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola on Oct. 11.

The new restaurant will offer Detroit-style deep dish pizza, hoagies and appetizers. The addition brings the Pocola property up to four restaurants for guests to enjoy, with Seven Ponies offering an elevated menu, Trophy’s Bar & Grill offering casual dining and Coffee Café serving 24-hour grab and go options.

“Square Pie is a great addition to Choctaw Casino & Resort – Pocola because it gives our guests more options, and it’s something that’s unique to the area,” said Bradley Davis, regional director of food and beverage at Pocola. “We’re excited to expand our offerings and find more ways to elevate the guest experience at Pocola.”

Square Pie’s menu includes three appetizers and two signature hoagies. The Freddy Picante features salami, pepperoni, Coppa ham and Giardiniera, while the Meatball & Cheese hoagie uses Wisconsin brick cheese to enhance the classic sandwich.

“We wanted to offer a Detroit-style pizza, which has a thick, pan-baked crust, but is much lighter and crispier than the Chicago-style most people are familiar with. It’s also served with the sauce on top, so the crust stays crunchy.  It’s a great twist on a classic,” said Byron Wilson, executive chef.

Guests can combine ingredients to build their own perfect pizza or order one of Square Pie’s inventive options like The Fahrenheit, which has ghost pepper cheese, jalapenos, banana peppers and Fahrenheit hot honey.

Square Pie Pizza Co. Will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 4-10 p.m. and Friday-Sunday from 4-11 p.m. To see the full menu, click here.
