DURANT, Okla., (September 13, 2023) – Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant will journey to good fortune and bring the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival to the Reserve Bar, September 22 – 24 and September 29 – October 1.

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival, which follows the lunar calendar, is held when the moon is at its biggest and brightest. It is a time for family and friends to gather and wish each other good luck and fortune. Lanterns, representing the moon’s reflection, will illuminate the Reserve Bar. Guests can enjoy a complimentary moon cake, known for its sweet and savory filling, and traditional Asian tea. A specialty Moon Festival Cocktail is also available in the Reserve Bar.

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival at the Reserve Bar will be open from 5-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, September 22, 23, 29 and 30, and from 12 – 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, and October 1.

North Texans can also get a glimpse of the Journey to Good Fortune Mid-Autumn Moon Festival at Grandscape in The Colony. A special tunnel of lights will shine bright on the guests of Grandscape Friday, September 22 – Friday, September 29 from 5 – 10 p.m. Guests walking through the Moon Festival Light display will have an opportunity to enter to win a sweepstakes to win a one-night stay at the resort, dinner at 1832 Steakhouse and free play.
