Durant, Okla., (March 10, 2023) – It’s easy to get in the groove every Friday and Saturday night at Gilley’s at Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant with free live music. Gilley’s DJ kicks off the fun at 7 p.m. to get the crowd ready for a night of great music, and the bands take the stage at 9:30 p.m.

Asphalt Cowboys is a high-energy variety cover band with several original tunes.

Saturday, March 11

Neon Union is an up-and-coming duo ready to take country music by storm. Grammy-nominated country star Jimmie Allen brought Leo Brooks and Andrew Millsaps together. He heard the two perform separately and knew the two would make a great duo. Together, Brooks and Millsaps are bringing a new sound to country music with traditional country music lyric and anthemic pop melodies.

Texas Hill is instantly identifiable due to its well-developed signature sound.  Craig Wayne Boyd, Adam Wakefield and Casey James all sing and take over the lead, pushing the group in their own unique direction while their harmonies allow the whole group to hang on to its center.

Dustin Perkins Band is releasing a new album this April, and after a decade of self-imposed exile in the mountains of Southeast Oklahoma. Perkins has a fresh take on life and a rejuvenated stage show. 

Saturday, March 25

Trey Lewis’s 2022 release “Single Again” climbed to No. 1 all genres on iTunes charts. He pushes the country music genre forward with an array of cutting-edge collaborations, intimate acoustic premixes, and exceptional songwriting. While Lewis went viral on TikTok in 2020, his band has been touring for years playing music all over the southeast.

Max Stalling is a Texas country singer-songwriter whose songs form snapshots of his life. His signature style combines traditional country, folk and western swing with touches of classic rock, R&B and jazz. For Stalling, performing onstage and being an artist is all about having fans hear the songs he has written.
