The Spa’s licensed aestheticians encourage clients to avoid hot showers that dry out the skin during the winter and to use a loofah, sugar, or salt scrubs to remove dry skin and hydrate with lotion after every shower. Running a humidifier at home can also help add moisture back into the air.

“Even during the winter months, it’s important to continue to wear sunscreen on our face, neck and body daily to protect our skin from the sun’s rays and to drink plenty of water,” Phelan says.
