The mission of the Choctaw Wellness Center is to provide an opportunity for users of this facility to enhance their educational, recreational, and fitness aspirations in order to promote healthier lifestyles.

Our Objectives
- Perform evaluations to obtain a current fitness level
- Assist members in setting reasonable and achievable short and long term goals
- Individualize each exercise program, respecting the member’s physical limitation, beginning fitness level, time constraints and goals
- Instruct members in safe and correct use of the equipment
- Assist members in modifying their exercise programs as they progress
- Provide members with accurate, up-to-date information on health and fitness topics
Fitness Assessment
A health appraisal will be administered and kept on file for each member. This instrument will be used to help identify any potential risk factors and help prescribe appropriate exercise programs on an individual basis. We will provide the following for members:
- A list of cardiovascular risk factors, which we will forward to your physician with your approval
- An assessment of your blood pressure, body fat percentage, flexibility and aerobic fitness level
- A fitness profile that shows how you compare to other people of your age and gender

Our facility offers a wide range of equipment and amenities for member use. It includes the following:

Membership
Memberships are available to the following individuals: (Access card fee of $10)
- Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma employees and immediate family members (up to age 23 and living at home.)
- CDIB Cardholders and immediate family members (up to age 23 and living at home.)
- Hotel Guests (must show room key)
- Local Law Enforcement
- Seniors and Spouses (one has to be 55 or older) for a monthly fee of $30 for a single or $50 for a couple
- Silver Sneakers - ask us about our program
